I photograph quietly and without direction — no stiff poses and no forced smiles. What you get back is the day as it actually felt. Weddings, couples and families in Bristol and anywhere in the UK.
A cross section of what I like photographing most — the first look, the ceremony, and the quiet bit at the end. Click a photo to see it bigger.
This is a selection — I will happily send a full wedding gallery if you ask.
These are 2026 season prices. Everything can be adjusted — tell me about the day and I will put together something that fits it.
An easy hour or two outdoors, just the two of you. Also makes a good save the date.
From getting ready to the first dance. The usual choice for a smaller wedding.
The whole day, from the morning to the dancing.
* Prices are a guide. A date is held once a short contract is signed and a 30% retainer paid. Travel anywhere in the UK is included on wedding packages; further afield by arrangement. Fully insured, including £5m public liability, which most venues will ask for.
This started nine years ago with a borrowed camera at a friend’s wedding. Since then I have been at more than three hundred of them. My favourite bit is the second before somebody cries, and the laugh nobody saw coming.
I do not set scenes up. I stay out of the way, you forget I am there, and that is when the good ones happen. The editing is gentle and true to the colours of the day — no filters that will look dated in a year.
Send me the date and a bit about the day. I come back within 24 hours to say whether I am free, with a full quote.
We meet, in person or on a call. If it feels right, the date is held with a contract and a 30% retainer.
I photograph the whole day quietly. You get on with it, and after an hour you stop noticing the camera.
Previews within a few days and the full edited gallery within three weeks. Downloadable, and you can order prints from it.
Insurance, before the venue asks. £5m public liability and professional indemnity. Most venues want to see the certificate, and they get it from me rather than from you chasing it a week before.
Two cameras, and everything written to two cards. The day does not happen twice. Cards are backed up to two drives before I go to bed, and the gallery stays online for a year.
A date and a price you can hold me to. The contract says when I arrive, when I leave, what you get and what it costs. Nothing is added afterwards.
Send me the date and a few lines about what you have in mind. Peak season dates go a year ahead, so the earlier you ask the better the odds.
