Back and neck pain
Low back, neck, sciatica and disc trouble. We settle it down, build it back up and show you how to keep it that way.
Book an appointment →A physiotherapy and rehab clinic in Chester. Back and joint pain, recovery after injury or surgery, and getting you back to what you actually want to be doing — one to one, with time to do it properly.
You get a physiotherapist for the whole hour, not a corner of a gym.
Every physio here is HCPC registered and a member of the CSP.
No referral needed. Fill in the form and we will ring you back.
Shockwave, ultrasound and a rehab gym you can actually load in.
Muscles, joints and nerves, from something that started this morning to something you have had for years. You always get told what we think is going on and why we are doing what we are doing.

A full hour: history, examination, a working diagnosis and a plan you both agree on.
Hands-on work, exercise and machines where they help. The plan changes as you do.
You leave with exercises you will actually do, so the problem does not come straight back.
Light, quiet treatment rooms and a gym with enough space to move properly. Have a look before you come.
Kingsmead is a physiotherapy and rehab clinic in Chester. We are not interested in ten minutes of ultrasound and a leaflet — we look for what is actually driving the problem and work on it until it stays fixed.
You get told what we think is going on, in words that mean something, and you get a share of the work. We see club runners, new mums, people in their eighties and people who sit at a desk all day.
Spines, mostly — necks and low backs. Set the clinic up and still sees patients four days a week.
Sports injuries and return to sport. Works with two local clubs on a Saturday and knows what going back too early looks like.
Pelvic floor and postnatal rehab. Unhurried appointments and nothing you have to be embarrassed about.
These are our fees. How many appointments you need is agreed after the first one — and it is usually fewer than people expect.
We are recognised by the main health insurers. If your policy covers physiotherapy, we can usually invoice them directly:
Not testimonials — the things a physiotherapist should be judged on.
You get a diagnosis, not a treatment. The first appointment is an hour of working out what is actually wrong. If it is something we cannot help with, we say so and write to your GP.
You are told how many sessions to expect. Usually four to six. If it is going to be more than that, you hear it at the start, not one appointment at a time.
You leave with something to do. Two or three exercises you will actually keep up, not a printout of twelve. Most of the recovery happens between appointments.
Fill this in and we will ring you back to fix a time — by the next working day at the latest.
