We turn up in the slot we gave you. If something overruns and we're going to be late, you get a phone call before the slot ends, not an hour after it.
The price is agreed before anything starts. On small jobs that's a figure over the phone; on bigger ones it's a written quote, itemised, with nothing hidden in it.
We leave the place as we found it. Dust sheets down, old parts taken away, and the floor swept before we go. It shouldn't be worth mentioning, but it is.
