What we do

From the first spade to the first swim

We are not a middleman. The building, the plant and the servicing afterwards are all our own people, with one of them answerable for your job from start to finish. There is a full comparison of liner, fibreglass and concrete in the kinds of pool.

Enclosures and covers

Low, mid and full-height enclosures that stretch the season, keep the heat in and keep the leaves out. Sliding or fixed.

Winterising and servicing

Opened up in spring and shut down properly in autumn. A filtration or pump fault is dealt with within 48 hours anywhere in the county.

Water care and chemicals

We will sort out the pH, the sanitiser and the hardness, and supply enough to see the season through. Clear water without the green fortnight.

We come to the garden, measure up and talk about how you will actually use it — where the pool should sit and what plant it needs.

A drawing, the plant specification and a priced schedule. On paper, with nothing tucked away in it.

We build it

The dig, the shell, the insulation, the pipework and the paving. A usual pool is handed over in two to four weeks.

Handover and after

We fill it, commission it and show you how to run it. Then we stay on hand for servicing, winterising and chemicals.

Three things worth asking any pool builder

They cost nothing to ask and they sort out most of the field.

Ask whether they are SPATA members. The Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association inspects its installer members and runs a warranty scheme. It is the nearest thing this trade has to a licence.
Ask who does the electrics. A pool is a special location under the wiring regulations. The bonding and the RCD protection have to be right and certificated, and that is not a job for a general builder.
Ask what running it costs. A heat pump on a covered pool and an uncovered one are different bills entirely. Anybody who will not put a yearly figure on it has not worked it out.
