The trade here

Three generations, one bench

The shop opened in 1991 a few doors off the Buttermarket, and the workshop has been in the same family ever since. The rule has not changed either: nothing leaves the bench until it is right.

  • Our own workshop, on the premises
  • Certificated diamonds, and every piece hallmarked
  • Sit down with us and design it properly
  • Two year guarantee, and servicing for as long as you own it

What to expect before you spend

Three things worth asking any jeweller.

Ask to see the hallmark. In this country precious metal over the weight limit has to be hallmarked at an assay office. It tells you the metal and who stood behind it — and it is not a matter of opinion.
Ask where the work is done. Ours is done at the bench behind the shop. A jeweller who sends everything away cannot tell you what they will find until it comes back.
Ask what the certificate covers. A GIA certificate describes the stone, not the setting and not the value. We will show you what it says and what it does not.
Get in touch

The piece you want starts with a conversation

Come and talk it through at the bench. The conversation and the drawing cost nothing and commit you to nothing.
