What finish is in the price? Painted steel outdoors is rusting within three years. Hot dip galvanised and then powder coated costs more up front and lasts twenty. A quote should say which one.
Who fits it? Steelwork made well and fitted badly is still a bad job. Our own team fits everything we make, which is also why the guarantee means something.
Is the gate automation safe? Powered gates have to meet the machinery rules — force testing, safety edges and photocells. If nobody mentions that, walk away.
