Three questions, usually on a phone, usually in under a minute. A site that answers them wins the job before anyone else is even rung.

Is your setting-out any good?
Corners, cuts around sockets, where the tile meets the bath. People who’ve had a bad job done know exactly where to look.

Do you do wet rooms?
Tanking and wet rooms are a different skill and a different price. Say whether you do them.

Can you work with underfloor heating?
Increasingly the reason someone is retiling at all. Worth naming.

What I’d put on a site for tilers
Not a template with your logo dropped in. This is what actually earns its place on a site for your trade.

04 · How it works
Three steps. No meetings.

You tell me what you do
A few lines is enough — the work you take on, the area you cover, and the number you want the phone to ring on. Photos if you have them; if not, we’ll sort that out.

You get a mock-up
Within a few days you’ll have a link to a first version of your actual site, with your work and your words on it. Free, and nothing signed.
03
You say yes or no
Like it, we finish it and it goes live. Don’t, and that’s the end of it — you pay nothing and owe nothing.
What do you need from me to start?
What you do, roughly where you work, and a phone number. Photos of finished jobs if you have them — they matter more than anything I could write. If you have none, say so and we’ll work around it.
I haven’t got any photos. Is that a problem?
No. Plenty of firms start with none. We can build it around what you do have and add photographs later — a site with no photos beats no site at all, and I’ll tell you which three shots would do the most good.
Who owns the site afterwards?
You do. The address is registered in your name, the site is yours to keep, and if you ever want to move it somewhere else you can take it with you. There’s no contract tying you to me.
What about the address and where the site lives?
I sort both out. The address (the www bit) is registered to you, and hosting — the place the site actually sits — is £249 a year including backups and the padlock in the browser. You can also host it yourself if you’d rather.
How long does it take?
The mock-up is a few days. From your go-ahead to being live is usually a week or two, and most of that is waiting on photos and on you reading the text.
What if I want to change something later?
Small changes are part of the price while we’re building it. Afterwards you can send them to me as they come up, or take a care plan if you’d rather not think about it.
